James McIntyre
James founded JM Automations after years of working in tech, he then got together with other developers to form the Alba Automations co-operative.
James has done process and business analysis as well as project management and development for several companies including one of the top energy companies in Great Britain. He’s also worked for clients such as Strathclyde University and The Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland as JM Automations.

Dara-Emma McGlacken
Dara-Emma is a developer, project manager, and a founding member of the co-op. She specialises in the design, delivery and maintenance of scalable, accessible digital systems, leveraging JavaScript, PHP, Python, SQL, MySQL, Git workflows, and frameworks including React and Flask. Her experience spans across the charity, private, and public sector, including Maryhill Burgh Halls Trust, The University of Edinburgh, Code Division and CodeYourFuture.
At the core of her work is a commitment to ethical data design, accessibility, and the development of secure, user-first digital systems.

Laurie Walters
Laurie is a developer with several years of experience at a prestigious multi-national finance institution. During this time he primarily worked in Java, although his work also included extensive use of SQL, Perl, Python, Unix, and Lisp.
As a developer he was responsible for the automation of key testing processes used in the analysis of high-value financial transactions.
He served on the committee of Dennistoun Living Rent for two years, working on ensuring the organisation’s work was effective, wide-reaching, and followed wider procedures.

David Carmichael
David is a many hat wearing pragmatic full-stack engineer that specialises in short timeline projects. He has over 10 years experience in the software world, and a well established understanding of server environments and web technologies.
His most used languages are Python and JavaScript/TypeScript. He is also part of the Pallets Projects team, an open source organisation that works to maintain the Flask web framework – the most popular Python web framework in the world, currently.

Ricardo Garcia
Ricardo is a Full Stack Developer, Dev-Ops Engineer and Mentor, specialised in distributed systems, cloud computing, SEO and digital communications. With a unique background that blends creative media skills and technical rigour, Ricardo’s experience ranges from Teaching to Media, IoT within the Energy Sector, Finance, and as of recently, the 3rd sector.
Ricardo’s work experience include companies such as British Gas, Tesco Bank and Barclays. He has recently been appointed Head of Technology and Digital Training Officer at the Crookston Community Group (CCG), a charitable organisation that aims to eliminate food poverty, exclusion and isolation.
